Lviv Vocational College of Applied Art and Design is one of the oldest VET Institutions in Western Ukraine that provides vocational training in art, building, and restoration. Founded in 1945 as a school of vocational training in construction professions, it changed several statuses. The last change occurred in renaming it in 2024.
Nowadays, Lviv Vocational College of Applied Art and Design provides students with vocational (vocational-technical) education and training as well as professional pre-higher education in art professions and specialties, construction (building and restoration) professions.
We prepare qualified workers at 3rd VET level and the level of Junior Professional Bachelor.
The professions presented in the institution include “Painter”, “Stained Glass Artist”, “Florist”, “Installator of Exhibitions and Artistic Works”, “Photographer”, “Wall Painter”, “Restorer of Decorative and Artistic Works”, “Joiner”, “Restorer of Woodworks”, “Carpenter, Parquet Layer”; specialties “Design” and “Fine Art and Restoration”.
The main task of the college is to provide qualitative vocational education and training, develop students’ hard and soft skills, abilities, and talents of each personality; organize a learning process according to national curricula, develop international partnerships, and collaborate with national stakeholders. In the college, inclusive education is presented.
More than 350 students study at Lviv Vocational College of Applied Art and Design.
Professional pedagogical workers provide the students with education and training and do methodological and scientific work in their professional areas.
There are modern classes for theoretical courses as well as vocational training, and well-equipped social infrastructure in the college.
The college developed projects with international organizations and funds, i.e. Eberhard Schoeck Foundation (Eberhard-Schoeck-Stiftung), USAID, UNIDO, Junior Achievement Ukraine, Norwegian Refugee Council, U.S.Embassy Ukraine, IREX, etc.
